For a truly different experience, you can have a private, romantic dinner prepared by by the owner and the family on the breathtaking terrace. The space is high above the Amalfi Coast, with a view of the cliffside of Ravello, ending with the sea at your feet. The evening starts with a glass of Prosecco on the terrace and an exquisite dinner by candlelight will follow prepared with the flair of Italian style, with beautiful linens and classic service. A special night truly to remember! Gennaro will be your sommelier for the event. He will demonstrate and explain the nuances of different traditional types of wine from the Amalfi Coast region, white and reds. Dessert wines and Grappa will also be explored. Salvatore will be your personal maitre and will demonstrate a discreet and impeccable service........a truly wonderful, unforgettable experience!!!!! All events will be tailored specifically to your needs and orchestrated by the owner who will be your own private chef for one night. No detail goes unnoticed, and she will do her best to create a menu to delight your palate. Rustic and beautiful ! FURTHER DETAILS: This location can only accommodate up to approximately 15 to 20 persons inside and 15 to 20 persons on the terrace as in case of rain they do not have a big enough space to accommodate more guests. REVIEWS: When you are willing to celebrate love rather then organizing the 'show' of your lifetime, and you are choosing it to be taking place in Ravello Italy, then I tell you this place has it all! Last week we got married here in her garden. As we had a boat tour during day time we were very late and the owner hoped we weren't disappointed arriving so late at Ravello (we had to come from Amalfi (only 10 minutes away),) as it was all dark and not much left of the view... My oh, my.... It really doesn't matter whenever you arrive here or if you give your promise by daylight or under the moonlight, it will always be the most romantic experience! When we arrived the table was so beautifully decorated and the garden was all lit by cande-light, it was like a fairytale... As I told the owner later, she and her staff managed to compose a perfect love symphony. Of course it was the celebration of our love, but the love and dedication they put to the scene made it out of this world! After the ceremony all our guests were quietly impressed, lots of tears were wept and wiped away by people secretly walking up to the edge and have this marvellous view over the sea (not less then 180 degrees) totally lit by moonlight. You saw the sparks of light dancing on the waves and the coastline of Amalfi was wearing her evening dress with her dotted lights melting together as a beautiful golden necklace... I have no words to describe it. Some people would say: It's like in the movies, but.... We live our own movie and this is the proof of it! The food was prepared with love and with brilliant taste. The wines were carefully adapted to the dishes as we wished. Service was great! Very professional, but again, most of all it was intimate! I swear that no other hotel or any other venue in the whole of the Amalfi Coast will be able to give you this special king & queen treatment as we got here. Next year we'll be back and do a private dinner, a cooking class and we'll have to repeat our promise again on that very spot! And we'll keep on doing that.
